As a photographer, I gained extensive experience in covering events in the UAE and the Middle East. I began taking photographs seriously in 1996, when i attended a course in “Photography and Digital imaging,” run by the Higher Colleges of Technology in Abu Dhabi. My first foray into the world of professional photography i was tasked with covering official news and events, including the opening of the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq in 2003. Since 2004, I have been the official photographer of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) in Abu Dhabi.
